I would rather say: USE HONESTY WITH DISCRETION! Sometimes the best choice is really NOT to tell the truth! Some small lies may be essential for the well being of a relationship!
Small lies will become a huge disadvantage when whoever it was we lied to finds out... No matter how well you try to hide the truth, unfortunately (or not), it will always come out.
So better just to deal with it without making it worse... And believe me, as a girl and a girlfriend... it doesn't work against you!
Well... maybe the word "lies" is too strong!! But definitely, if lying is wrong... then I say sometimes you can keep the "whole truth" to yourself...
